Travelling to a wedding in Italy is no small feat, so we’ve tried to make things easy by sorting out the accommodation and some travel tips so you can focus on the fun.  

Getting Here

  • Address

  • Airports

    Rome Fiumicino (FCO), around a two hour drive to the Castello, has a variety of flight options from the UK. San Francesco d'Assisi Airport in Perugia is closer, around one hour, but only flies out of Stanstead

  • Shuttle

    We’re arranging a shuttle from the airport to the Castello on Friday and back on Monday. Let us know if you’d like a spot when you RSVP

  • Car Hire

    If you’d prefer to drive, you’ll find plenty of rental options at the airport

  • By Train

    Trains run frequently from Rome to Orvieto. From there, it’s a 45-minute taxi ride to the Castello

  • Taxis

    Let us know if you would prefer to arrive by taxi and we will put your in touch with some local providers

Accommodation

We’ve reserved the entire Castello for all of our guests, so you’ll be right where the party is.

Staying at the Castello

We would love you to stay with us for the entire three nights, and really make a weekend of it, details below:

  • We are asking our guests for a £75 per person, per night contribution to the rooms, have a look at some of them here.

  • We will allocate rooms closer to the time and it may be that you have to share with a friend.

  • We’ll get in touch and collect payment in early 2026 or let us know if you’d prefer instalments.

  • If you would prefer not to stay at the Castello, please let us know and we can recommend some alternatives which are further afield
